Locality: United States, Minnesota, Fillmore, Along the lower reaches of Shattuck Creek, one mile west of Choice, eight miles south of Peterson.

Verbatim Elevation: 890 feet
Habitat: Local on low sandstone cliffs on the lower portion of a steep, 200-foot, north-facing bluff. Mesic to fairly moist, moss-covered, Jordan sandstone, 6-12 feet high. Shaded by the surrounding mesic hardwood forest (including Acer saccharum, Ulmus americana, Tilia americana, Fraxinus nigra, and Ostrya virginiana). Growing along the upper rim of two cliffs that are ~50 feet apart here. Sprawling, multi-stemmed shrubs with branches often draping down over the cliff face.
Associated Species: Associates include Cryptogramma stelleri, Cystopteris bulbifera, Circaea alpina, Arabis laevigata, Sullivantia renifolia.
