Habitat:
Locally abundant in highly degraded wet meadow in a heavily grazed pasture east of the highway. Level valley bottom along a small drainage, between moderately steep 50-foot slopes. Moist mucky-organic substrate, currently dry due to a late summer drought. Full sun. Specimens are of moderate size compared to some other individuals in this population. Larger plants with more dissected leaves.
Associated Species:
Associates include Lycopus americanus, Persicaria maculosa, P. hydropiper, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Aster novae-angliae, Bidens vulgata, Verbena hastata, Carduus acanthoides, Cirsium arvense, Phalaris arundinacea.
