Habitat:
Occasional in highly degraded wet meadow in a heavily grazed pasture east of the highway. Level valley bottomland along a small drainage, between moderately steep 50-foot slopes. Moist mucky-organic substrate, currently dry due to a late summer drought. Full sun.
Associated Species:
Associates include Eupatorium perfoliatum, Verbena hastata, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Lycopus americanus, Aster novae-angliae, Persicaria maculosa, P. hydropiper, Cirsium arvense, Carduus acanthoides, Phalaris arundinacea.
