Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, Rolling till plain along County Road 11, three miles north-northwest of St. Martin.

Habitat: Occasional in highly degraded wet meadow in heavily grazed pasture east of the highway. Level valley bottomland along a small drainage, between moderately steep 50-foot slopes. Moist mucky-organic substrate, currently dry due to a late summer drought. Full sun. Specimen is a portion of a large, many-branched plant.
Associated Species: Associates include Eupatorium perfoliatum, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Persicaria maculosa, Lycopus americanus, Verbena hastata, Cirsium arvense, Carduus acanthoides, Bidens vulgata, Aster novae-angliae, Phalaris arundinacea.
