Habitat: Flat seasonally wet swamp. Grey-brown clayey sand.
Description: Rosetted tuberous perennial herb forming dense colonies by asexual reproduction. Mature plants green or rarely red, 1.5-3 cm in diameter, 1.5-2.5 cm in height, producing 5-7 leaves. Flowers white, 1-2 per plant. Styles white, beige or orange-pink, very short and trumpet-shaped, often covered with drops of mucilage. Pollen yellow.
Notes: Very common in area.
Dynamic Properties: Voucher specimen, new location, potentially first collection from Perth Metropolitan Area (although D. tubaestylis is known to occur in nearby Alison Baird Reserve); Reg. 61: FT61000504; Reg. 4: CE006127
