Verbatim Elevation: 10250 ft
Description: Dominant, forming dense, low mats with short, stiff leaves, in areas not filled by Sphagnum spp. A more lax manifestation under shade of shrubs, but still not resembling true P. commune.
Notes: Taller loosely packed sterile form of drier ground
