Substrate: Soils consisting of wet/moist alluvial silt.
Associated Species: Dominated by Acer saccharinum and Populus deltoides ssp. monilifera. Associated with Bidens connata, Alisma triviale, Pilea fontana, Lycopus virginicus, Echinochloa walteri.
