Habitat: Locally common in northern rich fen being invaded by Typha Ã-glauca. Fen dominated by Carex lasiocarpa, Carex canescens, Salix petiolaris.
Substrate: Peat.
Associated Species: Carex interior, Carex chordorrhiza, Spiraea alba, Salix petiolaris, Sagittaria latifolia, Carex lasiocarpa, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Typha Ã-glauca, and Carex canescens.
