Habitat: Locally dominant in wet meadow dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis, Carex lacustris, Carex pellita, Lycopus uniflorus, Scutellaria galericulata.
Substrate: Sedge peat and loam.
Associated Species: Mentha canadensis, Rumex britannica, Comarum palustre, Phalaris arundinacea, Persicaria sp., Spiraea alba.
