Habitat: Conifer swamp dominated by Larix laricina with occasional to locally dominated areas of Fraxinus nigra. Slightly hummocky terrain supporting a wide variety of species. The lower depressions with standing water.
Substrate: Peat.
Associated Species: Carex interior, Mitella nuda, Maianthemum canadense, Rubus pubescens, Caltha palustris, Toxicodendron rydbergii, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Maianthemum stellatum.
