Habitat: Conifer swamp dominated by Larix laricina with occasional to locally dominated areas of Fraxinus nigra. Slightly hummocky terrain supporting a wide variety of species. The lower depressions with standing water.
Substrate: Peat.
Associated Species: Viburnum opulus americana, Rubus pubescens, Carex spp., Maianthemum canadense, Cypripedium reginae.
