Occasional in oak forest/woodland dominated by Quercus ellipsoidalis, Quercus macrocarpa, Betula papyrifera, Prunus serotina. Occasional Acer rubrum in subcanopy. Shrub layer with Frangula alnus, Prunus serotina.

Sandy loam.

Carex pensylvanica, Amphicarpaea bracteata, Symphyotrichum sp., Sceptridium multifidum, Galium boreale.
Description:
Plants diffuse in 15m X 15m area. Strobili stems yellowed.
