Locality: United States, Minnesota, Polk, Agassiz Dunes SNA. About 3.5 km south-southwest of Fertile. About 1.4 km southwest of the intersection of State Hwy. 32 and 450th St. SW.

Habitat: Occasional in dry sand prairie/oak savanna barrens on Glacial Lake Agassiz dunes. Prairie dominated by Schizachyrium scoparium with Carex obtusata, Carex siccata, Carex inops. Open grown Quercus macrocarpa scattered throughout the site.
Substrate: Sand.
Associated Species: Artemisia campestris, Lygodesmia juncea, Bouteloua gracilis, Liatris aspera.
Description: Some plants over 2 m tall.
