United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Fairly rugged bedrock terrain north of Jackfish Bay, Basswood Lake, 14 miles north-northeast of Ely. On the northeast shore of Hube Lake.

Habitat:
Uncommon and very local. Very small but fairly dense patches in a small (~1/4-acre) rich shoreline fen; in Sphagnum carpets ~1-3 inches above the lake level and just back from the water's edge. Full sun to partial shade of stunted Myrica gale.

Additional associates include Utricularia cornuta, Drosera intermedia, Pogonia ophioglossoides, Lycopus uniflorus, Carex lasiocarpa, C. utriculata, Rhynchospora alba.
