United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Fairly rugged bedrock terrain north of Fourtown Lake, 15 miles north-northeast of Ely, along the Moosecamp River flowage, ~ΒΌ-mile downstream from (east of) Moosecamp Lake.

Habitat:
Very local. Small patch of 25-30 small, cespitose plants on a fairly large (~25 square foot) chunk of floating peat that is pushed up against the boggy shoreline (a shore fen) of the slack water flowage. Growing on wet, exposed peat at and just above the water level. Full sun.
Associated Species:
Associates include Juncus brevicaudatus, Dulichium arundinaceum, Nymphaea odorata, Utricularia intermedia.
