Habitat:
Uncommon and quite local along the drainage connecting these two lakes, in a narrow bedrock-entrenched canyon, at the base of a 60-foot cliff. Several clumps here on the margin of a fairly large, slack-water pool, ~18-30 inches above the present water level; in a narrow shoreline zone exposed by receding water levels. Gravelly, rocky substrate, with pockets of silty organics. Full sun.
