Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Strongly rolling bedrock terrain 12 miles north-northeast of Ely, in the southern half of Fourtown Lake.

Elevation: 101 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1,330feet

Habitat: Local on the shore of a small island. Forming loose to dense patches in shallow silty gravel over nearly level granitic bedrock, ~4-6 inches above the water (the lake is down ~16 inches from the early season high mark). Full sun. Several additional plants encountered very locally in a few other rocky shoreline settings on this lake.

Associated Taxa: Associates include Carex viridula, C. lenticularis, Juncus pelocarpus, J. filiformis, Ranunculus flammula, Eriocaulon aquaticum, Hypericum boreale, H. majus, Euthamia graminifolia, Lysimachia terrestris, Lycopus uniflorus, Triadenum fraseri.
