Locality: United States, Minnesota, Olmsted, Along the South Branch of the Zumbro River on the edge of Oronoco, immediately upstream from the U.S. Highway 52 bridge.

Habitat: Occasional to frequent on a gravel bar, in a setting that was, until the past ~two years, long-submerged by the dam that impounded the Lake Shady reservoir. The long, broad, nearly level bar rises 3-5 inches above the current water level, along the north bank of the river. In rounded, pea-sized gravel, moist just below the surface. Full sun. Most of the sprawling plants appear grazed (likely by Branta canadensis).
Associated Species: Associates include Cyperus squarrosus, Eragrostis pectinacea, Persicaria lapathifolia, Lindernia dubia, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Bidens cernua.
