Habitat: Fairly local in a ~10-acre alluvial wet meadow and shrub swamp complex. Organic clay substrate. Shallow surface water. Loose patches. Low shrubs, to 4(5) feet tall. Mostly in full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex lacustris, C. utriculata, Salix planifolia, S. pedicellaris, S. lucida, Ribes hirtellum, Alnus incana, Equisetum fluviatile, Calla palustris, Potentilla palustris, Typha xglauca.
