Locality: United States, Minnesota, Fillmore, Along the upper reaches of Shattuck Creek, in rugged forested terrain three miles west-southwest of Choice, 7.5 miles southeast of Lanesboro, east of 401st Avenue.

Habitat: Occasional to locally common on a series of low dolomite cliffs scattered along a ~1,000-foot stretch of steep, 140-foot, northwest-facing bluffs. These intermittent rock faces range from dry-mesic to mesic, from 10-30 feet high, are mostly on the mid-slope, and are shaded under a mesic hardwood forest canopy. Many hundreds of plants. On silty ledges and in crevices; most abundant in moister mossy settings.
Associated Species: Associates include Cystopteris bulbifera, Sullivantia renifolia, Parthenocissus inserta, Aquilegia canadensis, Pilea sp., Asarum canadense.
