United States, Minnesota, Anoka, Level terrain east of Highway 65, and north of the Anoka County Airport (Janes Field) in the city of Blaine, in a small area on the east side of County Road 52, south of 105th Avenue.

Very local. Frequent in moist sand, in portions of a ~one-acre zone that appears to be a shallow borrow pit. Hundreds of plants here. The surface of the land is within a few inches of the elevation of the adjacent cattail marsh. Mostly in full sun.
Associates include Bulbostylis capillaris, Cyperus lupulinus, Dichanthelium acuminatum, Agrostis scabra, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Rubus sp., Polygala sanguinea, Trifolium hybridum, Achillea millefolium, Erigeron strigosus, Rumex acetosella, Chrysanthemum leucanthemum.
