Habitat:
Local in a shallow wet area (~½-acre vernal wetland) in the trail corridor (which is an old road here). Partially shaded by the adjacent mesic forest (Abies balsamea, Populus tremuloides, and Betula papyrifera). Dozens of clumps; many / most with ~deformed perigynia. Shallow organic cap over moist, gravelly, sandy-loam.
