Habitat:
Local in a fairly large (~10-acre) bedrock outcrop complex rising 15-30 feet above thousands of acres of peat bog. Frequent to locally common in shallow detrital-organic soil over level to gently sloping, metasedimentary bedrock (biotite schist). Mostly in full sun.
