Habitat:
Very local on a small, gently-sloping terrace at the base of a 60-foot, northeast-facing slope, in wooded ravine near a pipeline corridor. Mesic hardwood forest. Canopy of large Quercus rubra and Acer saccharum. Subcanopy includes Tilia americana, Acer saccharum, Ulmus americana, and Prunus serotina. Compacted silty-clay with abundant earthworms. Loose patch of ~50-75 loose clumps in ~250-square foot area.
