Locality: United States, Minnesota, St. Louis, Strongly rolling forested terrain west of Ash Lake, eight miles north-northeast of the town of Nett Lake, 14 miles northwest of Orr.

Habitat: Quite local here along a small drainage. Infrequent to occasional along the top of a rather large beaver dam that impounds ~4-5 feet of water depth, creating a fairly large (5-acre) pond. Plants are rooted in moist to wet, mucky-organic substrate, just above the water level. In full sun. Small clumps.
Associated Species: Associates include Sagittaria latifolia, Callitriche palustris, Bidens cernua, Sparganium emersum.
