Habitat: growing on an ATV trail. Plants were observed growing in areas with mosses and short vegetation.
Associated Species: Fragaria virginiana, Castilleja coccinea, Solidago gigantea, Luzula acuminata, Botrychium tenebrosum, and Equisetum sylvaticum.
