Associated Species: Quercus rubra, Ulmus pumila, Celtis occidentalis, Rhamnus cathartica.
Description: Stamens ca 10, anthers white. Simple thorns abundant, no compound thorns. A very large shrub with 8 stems; the largest stem 9 m tall, 14 cm dbh; Est 2 days past peak anthesis (spring 2 weeks early this year).
