Habitat: Tamarack Swamp on floating mat severed by [hwy]; Fairly sparse canopy of Larix laricina. Rather dense tall shrub layer dominated by Betula glandulifera. In continuous carpet of Sphagnum. Associates include Salix pedicellaris, Carex lasiocarpa, C. disperrma, C. limosa, C. canescens, C. paupercula, Eriophorum chamissonis, Thelypteris palustris, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Potentilla palustris, Drosera rotundifolia, Scheuchzeria palustris, Platanthera lacera, Calopogon tuberosus, Menyanthes trifoliata, Vaccinium macrocarpon.
