Habitat: In mesic hardwood forest on center of island. With Tilia americana, Ulmus rubra and Populus deltoides. Numerous large, dead Ulmus americana. Former heron colony site.
Associated Species: With Laportea canadensis, Hydrophyllum virginianum, Carex albursina, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Menispermum canadense and Circaea lutetiana.
