Habitat: At the top of a south-facing slope on the north side of the Chanarambie Creek valley. In highly grazed dry prairie dominated by Schizachyrium scoparium and Bouteloua curtipendula.
Associated Species: With Bouteloua hirsuta and Hesperostipa spartea.
