Habitat:
Growing near the northeast shore of Villard Lake (ID 61006700), a shallow 550 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Near the public water access. Locally abundant and common lake-wide. Found both submerged and emergent in 2 meters of water.
Substrate:
Silt substrate.
Associated Species:
Associated with Utricularia vulgaris, Ceratophyllum demersum.
