Elevation: 463 meters (1519ft)
Habitat: Found in the northeastern part of Carol Lake (ID 38034000), a shallow 100 acre basin situated in the Border Lakes Ecological Subsection. Growing near the northwestern shoreline of a small island. Individuals fully submerged in 30 - 45 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Organic cap ~5 centimeters thick over gravel substrate that has accumulated between submerged boulders.
Associated Species: Associated with Lobelia dortmanna.
