Habitat:
Found near the southern shoreline of Carol Lake (ID 38034000), a shallow 100 acre basin situated in the Border Lakes Ecological Subsection. Approximately 100 meters north-northeast of portage trail to Insula Lake. Individual fully submerged in 30 centimeters of water. All observed sterile. Boulder-lined shoreline.

Sand-gravel substrate.
