Habitat: Growing near the southwestern shoreline of Cache Lake (ID 38047700), a 35 acre basin situated in the Border Lakes Ecological Subsection. Outlets to Insula Lake. Quiet, sheltered bay. Bog-stained water. Water depth ~45 centimeters.
Substrate: Soft sediment over a firm bottom.
Associated Species: Associates include Dulichium arundinaceum.
