Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Superior National Forest. 30 miles east of Ely. 1 mile south of Alice Lake.

Elevation: 462 meters (1515ft)
Habitat: Growing in the boulder-strewn shallows between two islands on Fishdance Lake (ID 38034300), a 150 acre basin situated in the Border Lakes Ecological Subsection. Basin well sheltered from from wind, being rather narrowed, elongated, and curving. Sheltered channel about 15 meters wide. Individuals local and forming loose colonies. Fully submerged in 30 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Fine sediment cap ~3 centimeters thick over gravel substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Utricularia resupinata, Juncus pelocarpus, Lobelia dortmanna, Littorella americana, Nymphaea odorata.
Description: All observed sterile.
