Elevation: 276 meters (905ft)
Habitat: Found near the southeast shore of the eastern basin of Twin Lake (ID 30000400). A shallow, 50 acre boggy lake situated in the Anoka Sand Plain Ecological Subsection. Basin surface nearly completely covered with floating-leaf vegetation; very little open water. Individuals seemingly local; growing in a small stand with Potamogeton foliosus. Submerged in 1.2 meters of water depth.
Substrate: Organic, mucky substrate.
Associated Species: Other associates include Nuphar variegata, Nymphaea odorata, Utricularia vulgaris, P. zosteriformis, Ceratophyllum demersum, Nitella sp.
Description: Forming turions.
