Habitat: Growing near the northern shoreline of Josephine Lake (ID 62005700), a 115 acre eutrophic basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Water clarity good. Individuals locally sparse and seemingly sparse lakewide. Submerged in 15 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Heteranthera dubia, Chara cf. contraria, Typha sp.
