Habitat: Growing near the southeast shoreline of Olson Lake (ID 82010300), an 85 acre shallow, mesotrophic basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Connected to DeMontreville Lake. Individuals locally common in 0.6 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Vallisneria americana, Ceratophyllum demersum, Potamogeton pusillus, P. robbinsii, P. illinoensis, P. amplifolius, Myriophyllum spicatum, Najas flexilis, Elodea canadensis.
