Habitat: Growing near the southeast shoreline of Little Green Lake (ID 13004101), a 200 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Mille Lacs Uplands Ecological Subsection. Connected to the large, 1800 acre Green Lake (ID 13004100). Near the public water access. Locally common. Submerged in 30 centimeters of water.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Chara globularis, Najas flexilis, Ceratophyllum demersum, Vallisneria americana.
