Habitat: Growing along the northern shoreline of White Bear Lake (ID 82016700), a large 2,400 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Basin has high water clarity. Search area limited to a 60 meter shoreline stretch near the public water access. Water levels low, exposing mudflats nearshore. Individuals locally common and flowering on exposed sandy mudflats.
Associated Species: Associates include Schoenoplectus pungens, Cyperus sp., Bidens cernua.
Description: Bright yellow perianth.
