Habitat: Growing in the southern part of Horseshoe Lake (ID 13007300), a 220 acre basin situated in the Mille Lacs Uplands Ecological Subsection. Water clarity good. Low to moderate shoreline development. Individuals locally common along the nearshore edge of undeveloped shoreline.
Substrate: Growing on a quaky sedge mat.
Associated Species: Associates in adjacent water include Nymphaea odorata, Nuphar variegata, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna trisulca, Elodea canadensis, Ceratophyllum demersum, Potamogeton zosteriformis, P. crispus.
