Habitat: Growing in the northwest arm of Bear Head Lake (ID 69025400), a 660 acre mesotrophic lake situated in the Nashwauk Uplands Ecological Subsection. Observed in 0.3 meters of water.
Substrate: Firm bottom with silt layer on top.
Associated Species: Associated with Brasenia schreberi, Dulichium arundinaceum, Myriophyllum alterniflorum, Chara sp.
