Elevation: 280 meters (918ft)
Habitat: Growing near the southwest shoreline of Horseshoe Lake (ID 13007300), a 220 acre basin situated in the Mille Lacs Uplands Ecological Subsection. Water clarity good. Low to moderate shoreline development. Individuals locally common along the edge of a Nymphaea odorata and Nuphar variegata stand in 1.5 meters of water. Observed throughout lake, growing abundantly in many areas.
Substrate: Silt substrate.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Potamogeton praelongus, P. crispus, Ceratophyllum demersum, Utricularia vulgaris, Lemna trisulca.
