Habitat: Growing on the north side of West Sylvia Lake (ID 86027900), a 900 acre mesotrophic lake situated in the Big Woods Ecological Subsection. Connected to East Sylvia Lake. Water clarity excellent. Locally abundant in a protected bay. Growing in 1.5 meters of water.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Potamogeton natans, P. crispus, Nymphaea odorata.
