Habitat:
Growing near the eastern shoreline of Gilchrist Lake (ID 61007200), a 335 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Water clarity varied from good to poor. Near inlet of the East Branch of the Chippewa River. Locally common in 1.1 meters of water.
Substrate:
Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species:
Associated with Myriophyllum spicatum, Heteranthera dubia, Potamogeton zosteriformis.
