Growing in the northeast portion of Big Birch Lake (ID 77008400), a 2,100 acre lake situated in the Hardwood Hills Ecological Subsection. Water clarity high. Locally scattered in 0.6 meters of water.
Substrate:
Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species:
Associated with Ceratophyllum demersum, Nymphaea odorata, Potamogeton zosteriformis, P. richardsonii, Lemna trisulca, Heteranthera dubia.
