Habitat: Growing near the western shoreline of Big Birch Lake (ID 77008400), a 2,100 acre lake situated in the Hardwood Hills Ecological Subsection. Water clarity high. Locally common. Fully submerged in 0.6 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Potamogeton illinoensis, P. gramineus, Lemna trisulca, Najas flexilis, Chara sp.
Description: Fertile.
