Elevation: 1049 meters (3441ft)
Habitat: Common along margin of wet mesic prairie transitioning to wet prairie and wet meadow. Growing in moderate quality big bluestem dominated wet-mesic prairie. Elymus repens and scattered Rhamnus cathartica shrubs common. Land management history is unknown, hydrology was possibly altered. Common associates include: Carex meadii, Equisetum laevigatum, and Elymus repens.
