Locality: United States, Minnesota, Pine, Banning State Park. East side of Kettle River approximately 6 km northeast of Sandstone and 2.1 km east of the MN Hwy 23 and Interstate 35 junction.

Habitat: Plants scattered in seepage influenced wet forest near the base of steep slope (west aspect). Partial sun. Associates include: Symphyotrichum puniceum var. puniceum, Carex bromoides subsp. bromoides, and Impatiens capensis.
Description: Plants mostly with developing fruits. Some flowers still present.
