Elevation: 376 meters (1233ft)
Habitat: Growing near the southwest shoreline of Monson Lake (ID 76003300), a shallow, 200 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Ecological Subsection. Water clarity good. Protected bay. Individuals locally sparse, forming small patches in 0.8 meters of water. Did not observe additional stands throughout basin.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Schoenoplectus acutus var. acutus, Sparganium eurycarpum, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna trisulca, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Potamogeton zosteriformis.
